Hello and welcome back to the latest edition of the NFL Weekly Roundup. This blog is beginning to have a constant theme. Ranting about the Bengals. Yet again they deliver and Sunday full of misery. I'm getting so sick of coming on here and writing about how this defence is just throwing away a sensational year by a certain few players. Literal historic seasons are being thrown away because this Bengal defence try to stop a bowling ball with a toothpicks. Honestly, they are so bad. The second half they showed a couple of signs that they may be a serviceable unit, and then when the chips are down and you need one more stop they just let J.K Dobbins hurdle into the endzone. I know they might have been told to let that happen in order to let Burrow have one last chance, but that's another 1 score game that we've lost this year. We are now 1 AND 6 in 1 score games this season. That is absolutely atrocious. Don't even get me started on McPherson. How? How does a player of his ability manage to miss 2 field goals, which are easy for his ability. His regression since his rookie season needs to be studied. His career has went so badly downhill, especially after getting paid this past offseason. Joey B and Ja'Marr showed up again. Tee Higgins and Chase Brown came to play aswell, but when Eli Apple who was ridiculed as being completely incompetent as a Bengal is the highest graded corner in the game, that speaks volumes.
The Bills took it to Mahomes and the Chiefs. This is a big moment for Buffalo in my opinion. Josh Allen came up clutch, which he hasn't been really known for throughout his career thus far. Although missing arguably his top 2 receivers in Keon Coleman and TE Dalton Kincaid, Allen still got it done. A late 26 yard run from Allen iced the game, and silenced a lot of doubters. Allen and the Bills are arguably are the best team in the AFC, and are a one of the favourites to win it all this year. I have said before that I will take Buffalo's regular season with a pinch of salt this year and wait for their playoff performances, however, this was definitely a statement win and I'm intrigued as to see how far this team can go.
